ReplyDeleteWe get it already - you're in love with Jason Hodges, CNP, and everything any of them do. Good thing - since you're having to make up for everyone else.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout out to WRIR!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - let me say this - you are one boring individual. I will meet you anytime anywhere to discuss why I chose Jason or anyone else for that matter for these awards. You go right ahead and hide behind 'Anonymous' or how bout this...you don't like OWR, then don't read it anymore.
ReplyDeleteWow! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Michael Miracle
I promise to try harder to be a part of the Richmond scene in 2011.
ReplyDeleteI love Lamplighter.
ReplyDeleteMuch Love for the shouts..keep it jazzy w/DRUM & BASS!
ReplyDeleteSo when do these kids officially do the RED CARPET walk, make an speech, & WERE'S THE GALLA at....are real trophies involved???? Luda
ReplyDeleteWho votes on these 'awards'? They seem very biased. No band mentions from DJ Williams, Barrelhouse, Proverbial. Honestly best keyboard player hands down is Evan Howard of AquaFuture. If you are gonna put a list together of people you like together that's fine, but don't call it The Best of Richmond!
ReplyDeleteThanks you so much for the honor of awarding my documentary Best Local Music/Band Documentary. The The Silo Effect is a great band and awesome people. The film couldn't have been made if it weren't for their willingness to be honest in front of the camera. Congrats to all the winners.
ReplyDeleteWow, I need a better proof reader!
ReplyDeleteI agree with a lot of the points this brilliant anonymous individual has made. Who exactly votes on this? The lack of most of the real, quality musicians that are in Richmond from this list is pretty short-sighted and fails to show an even playing field.
ReplyDeletekappeller violins????? best music store?????
